Rise Above is an album by indie rock band Dirty Projectors, released on September 11, 2007. The album is an attempt by band leader Dave Longstreth to remember and reinterpret the entire Black Flag album Damaged after not hearing it for almost 15 years.[1][2] The album features Longstreth on guitar and vocals, Amber Coffman on vocals and guitar, Brian McOmber on drums, Nat Baldwin on bass, and Susanna Weiche on vocals.[1] Angel Deradoorian would join the band shortly before the Rise Above tour, taking the position of bass and vocals.[1]

Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins claims he has never listened to this album [3].
